Answer: Many graduates of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Department of Physics and Informatics and Department of Geosphere Sciences enter the Mathematical Sciences major, Physics and Informatics major and Earth Science major in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering. Graduates of the Department of Biology and Chemistry often continue to the Environmental Science and Engineering major of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering or the Applied Molecular Biology major in the Graduate School of Medicine.

Question: How long are the graduate courses?

Answer: The Master’s program is two years. Additionally, the Doctoral program is three years.

Students with particularly excellent grades may be able to complete their course early.
