Tuition Exemptions

We hold an information session for applying for tuition exemption (for the first semester of the following year) in mid-January each year.

Scholarships

Students can apply for scholarships through JASSO.

Scholarship Repayment Exemption System

Graduate students with clear research achievements who have received JASSO’s first category scholarship (non-interest) are eligible for repayment exemption. Students whose achievements are in the top 10% of those receiving the first category scholarship are eligible for full exemption. Those in the top 20% are eligible for half of their tuition to be exempted from repayment.

Scholarship repayment exemption is not available for students who receive the second category scholarship (interest).

For students entering graduate school or considering entering graduate school:
