Research Field

The research interests in this laboratory are the solid structures and properties of linear-chain molecules, such as n-alkane, polyethylene, polypropylene etc. They are investigated by several experimental techniques (X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, optical microscopy, and IR spectroscopy).

1. Crstallization of polypropylene: Gannma-form
2. Kinetic study of the rotator phase transition of n-alkane crystals
3. Structures of the rotator phases of n-alkane crystals
4. Crystallization and Structures of liquid-crystalline polyether
