Department of Physics and Information Science - Course Education Curriculum

Students learn from general education courses (English, Statistics, Physics Experiments - the introductory experiments course, etc.) while learning the fundamentals of physics and information science from specialized courses.

Introduction to Physics and Information Science, Logical Thinking, Mathematics for Physics and Information, Dynamics, Electromagnetism, Programming Languages/Practicum, Numerical Analysis, Physics, Circuit Theory


Second semester of second year - second semester of third year


Students choose to enter either the “Physics Course” or “Information Science Course”, where they study both general education courses and specialized courses. Required specialized courses differ by Course. Students also take specialized experiment and practicum courses.

Fourth year

Students take some specialized courses. In addition, students are distributed into laboratories where they conduct special research.


The results of special research are assembled and submitted as a graduation thesis.
